Results 2009
In 2008 we established and communicated a range of objectives for the period until 2010. Below is a list of the major achievements that were met in 2009:

- SHEQ agreement introduced
- Reduction in accidents resulting in absence
- Improved reporting and analysis of accidents by implementing TrackWise
- Central audit program SHEQ rolled out
- Employee Motivation Research results followed up
- More active role towards stakeholders
- Cradle to Cradle knowledge cafes established
- Customer Satisfaction Study carried out

Economy
- Revenue decreased by 5 per cent to EUR 1.1 billion
- EBITDAE decreased by 5 per cent to EUR 259 million
- EBITDAE margin stable thanks to effective cost savings
- Operating cash flow remained strong (EUR 245 million)
- Debt further reduced
- Positive equity of EUR 179 million
- Operating profit excluding non-recurring costs increased by 7 per cent
- Net loss EUR 188 million because of non-recurring costs
