Welcome to a world where we waste no more

If we ask you what your ideal scenario would be, do you know what you would say? Do you see before you a world where you live and work in a pleasant setting, without harming the environment? Do you see a flourishing economy in which we prevent, reuse and recycle waste, so that our existing raw materials do not become even more scarce? And so that carbon emissions are kept to a minimum? This is how we can work together to protect the environment and to prevent the earth’s natural resources being depleted.

Thinking through the production process

Before a new product is created it is usually worked out on the drawing board. This is the first step in which Van Gansewinkel demonstrates its added value, by actively thinking along with you about the raw materials you use or reuse. And by supplying these raw materials. Right from the development stage, we are already making provision for the components in new products to have a second life.

The production process

Speed and flexibility: the basis for success. Whether in the production of refrigerators or packed fruit, the sooner we think about the raw materials that will be required later on in the production process, the faster and more flexible it will be. In your production process you can use materials that someone else no longer wants, such as raw materials that have been recycled & upcycled.

Separation at source

If you are a supplier of raw materials you can benefit from maximum separation at source. You can use innovative collection resources to achieve waste streams of an increasingly high quality and these waste streams can be given a second life as raw materials. They may be used now or later, by you or by another producer, thus helping to create value and to reduce the cost of waste.

Collection and temporary storage

Thanks to our extensive logistics network, Van Gansewinkel is always able to collect waste and supply raw materials efficiently and effectively. If there is a better way to do this, we will use it. The fewer kilometres we travel, the lower the carbon emissions from our fleet will be.

Processing and recycling in modern recycling stations

Van Gansewinkel has its own recycling operations where we convert specific waste streams into high-quality secondary raw materials. We are continuing to invest in innovative sorting and recycling methods in order to be able to supply specific streams as raw materials for your production process. The sooner we know what the requirements are, the higher the quality of the components and raw materials we supply will be.

Secondary raw materials
and energy

Recycling: the perfect way for us to improve production processes together. Van Gansewinkel serves as the connecting link in coordinating supply and demand for secondary raw materials and energy. This creates a transparent market, which gives rise to advantages for the economy and the environment. We feel it is our duty to drive the circular economy and protect the environment.

This is what motivates and drives us

We are motivated by the prospect of a flourishing economy in which we prevent, reuse and recycle waste. We want to ensure that existing raw materials do not become even more scarce, and that carbon emissions are kept to a minimum. If we work together to achieve these objectives, we will be able to achieve so much more than we can now. Together we will then be able to create a flourishing economy so we can be proud of the world we pass on to the next generation.
